A dynamic vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader, Mae McCoy brings heartfelt showmanship and polished professionalism to every performance. She was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2023 and currently serves as Vice President of the Western Swing Society. Her resume includes appearances at legendary venues such as Trouts, Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace, and Moe’s Alley, and a national spotlight on CMT’s Can You Duet? filmed in Nashville and judged by Naomi Judd.
In 2025, McCoy was featured as a live performer during the California screening tour of The Birth and History of Western Swing, directed by Mike Markwardt. She also took the stage at the California State Fair and opened for Texas legend Dale Watson, further solidifying her role as a central figure in the genre’s modern revival.
Her full-length album, At Sundown, released on Neon Stars Records, has aired across the U.S. and U.K. on terrestrial and online radio. Recorded at the legendary Heart of Texas Recording Studio and produced by Justin Trevino, the project features standout performances from Emily Gimble (Asleep at the Wheel), Jim Loessberg (Ray Price), Jess Meador (Jake Hooker), and Lisa Layne Stewart.
