I’m excited to share that I’m currently escaping the treacherous heat of Sacramento to work on my second album with Kevin Russell in Sonoma County. We’re recording at Darryl Webb Recording, a beautifully repurposed theater along the riverbank of Healdsburg. There’s something truly magical about this place—it’s incredibly inspiring and perfect for bringing these new songs to life.
I’ve already laid down tracks with Kevin and Matt Davis, and we’re diving into recording some classic Maddox Brothers and Rose songs, along with other beloved country classics. Darryl Webb is a master at his craft and a very talented fellow, and his expertise in recording, mixing, and mastering is making all the difference for this project.
This album is still in the works, and I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Candy Girard, Dave Zirbel, and some very special guests. The studio’s unique setting and acoustics, combined with Darryl’s skill, are just what we need to create something special.
