Sunday Piano Series

There’s something timeless about sitting at a piano and letting the music speak for itself. That’s what my Sunday piano series is all about—no frills, no fuss, just pure music. Every week at 6:00 p.m., I share a short piano piece, recorded in the moment and straight from my place to yours.

In a world that’s often too loud and too fast, these little moments of melody feel like a quiet conversation. It’s not about perfection; it’s about the feeling. Maybe it’s a tune you’ll hum along with, or maybe it’ll take you back to a memory you’d nearly forgotten. Either way, it’s yours to make of it.

Some of the songs I’ve already shared include “Life is Like a Mountain Railroad” and “Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray.” Often, I’m playing these pieces between preparing our Sunday supper. I’m so used to playing music with a large band (sometimes up to 7-8 members), but there’s something wonderful about scaling it down to just me. Each one has its own story and its own mood, and I’m looking forward to adding more to the list.

I’m still learning as I go, and sometimes I’ll only play snippets of songs. If there’s a tune you’d love to hear, feel free to reach out and let me know—I’m always open to requests.

So, if you’ve got a soft spot for piano music or just need a quiet pause in your day, come by on Sundays. Let the music take you to a time when words weren’t needed, and every note held its own story.
